Weekend off the Wagon: September 23-25
Weekend off the Wagon in your inbox, every Friday
Denver Beer Week starts today, ushering in GABF and a host of other activities. It’s also Oktoberfest season. And, well, it’s Denver, so there’s a ton going on anyway. The weather is beautiful, so get out there and enjoy it!
Here’s a few ideas for your weekend:
Track 1:
Beer. Lots of beer.
Friday: Head over to the Paramount Cafe and check out their growing craft beer program. They kick off the week with a Sierra Nevada tapping and some brewers to talk shop.
Saturday: Great COntenders at Wynkoop, then over to the Ritz for SeptFest, and top it off at Paris on the Platte’s anniversary party.
Sunday: This town will be flowing. Stop by FreshCraft for their local showcase, run over to Falling Rock before it gets too slammed with beer geeks, maybe hit up Euclid, Star Bar, and Great Divide for similar reasons, or head down to Rackhouse for some free bacon and football. And get read for GABF.
Track 1:
The Oktoberfest Track
All weekend: Pick a town. Go to their Oktoberfest.
Track 2:
More awesome, less thematic
Friday: Swing over to Fado’s for the Stella Artois Draught Masters Regional Semi-Finals
Saturday: Boulder Fall Fest
Sunday: Denver Beer Fest then Denver Silent Film Festival
See below for a detailed list for weekend events. Check out our full calendar to plan your events well into the future.
