They’ve also announced their first hire, the Tap Room Head Honcho, Casey Capper, in a recent press release. Casey is also a writer for the Wagon.

Denver Beer Co.’s boilers are going full steam ahead and beer is percolating in the finishing tanks.  With an aim of officially opening the doors in just a couple of weeks, all hands are on deck putting in the finishing touches on the bars, bathrooms, and first batches of beer.  The brewery plans a starting line-up to include an American Wheat brewed with kaffir lime leaves, an American Pale Ale, a Graham Cracker Porter, a Noble Pilsner, and an IPA.

Denver Beer Co. is also proud to announce the newest addition to its team, Casey Capper, who has joined the company as the official Taproom Head Honcho.  Prior to joining Denver Beer Co., Casey acted as the Manager, Beer Buyer, and Social Media Director for Argonaut Liquor Store in Denver.  In this capacity Casey helped Argonaut gain the distinction of “Denver’s Best Retail Beer Selection” from 5280 Magazine two years in a row.  Casey has also worked as an Assistant to the Brew Master at Pug Ryan’s brewery in Dillon, Colorado and as a consultant and designer for wine distributer Table 31 Imports.  Most importantly Casey shares Denver Beer Co.’s love for craft beer and passion for brewing. Denver Beer Co. is thrilled have Casey join the All-Star Team.  His knowledge and prior experience working within the craft beer industry will be a great asset to the brewery.

Congrats to Charlie, Patrick, and Casey. We’ll see them and all of you at Denver Beer Co. August 12th!
