Euclid Hall Throws Party to Celebrate its First Anniversary

I love me a good birthday bash, especially when it’s a beloved beer bar.  See below for Euclid Hall’s press release on their 1st Birthday Party:
Denver, CO — Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen on Larimer Square will be celebrating its first anniversary with a blowout party at the restaurant on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 serving up killer food, offering butchering and sausage making demos, specialty spirits and beers along with a special appearance by the iconic DJ Vajra.

Opened on 8/9/10 by Jennifer Jasinski and Beth Gruitch, owners of nearby Rioja and Bistro Vendôme, Euclid Hall has been a monster hit – honored with glowing reviews for its sausages, poutiness and schnitzels and numerous accolades including Best New Restaurant from Westword and 5280 magazine, Best New American Restaurant and Best Late Night Menu from Westword and Top of the Town Best Happy Hour from 5280 magazine. Euclid’s Chef de Cuisine Jorel Pierce also won Best Rising Star Chef in Westword during this first year.DJ Vajra will be on the decks from 8 p.m. until midnight.  He was the recent winner of the 2011 DMC Denver World DJ Championship, the 2011 DMC Online DJ Championship.
Goldfish races, math quizzes and other frivolity will prevail with prizes to the winners.Tickets for the anniversary soiree are $45 per person and include food stations, two specialty beers, house wines or well cocktails per person and all the festivities. Tickets are now on sale at Euclid Hall. Doors will open at 7 p.m.Partners in the anniversary party include Leopold Brothers, Great Divide and Boulevard Brewing Company who will all offer tastings at the event.

Located right around the corner from Rioja in Euclid Hall, an 1883 building that once housed the venerable Soapy Smith’s bar, this American tavern focuses on high quality and innovative pub food from around the world including housemade sausages, po’ boys, poutine and schnitzels.
