New Belgium Snow Day

New Belgium recently got a label approval for a new beer, “Snow Day”. We don’t know much about it, except that it’s 6.2% and an ale, and appears to be draft only for now, based on the label approval being a keg cap. What kind of beer do you think Snow Day will be?

Update

Label Copy:

With three feet of powder closing the roads, a brewery is not a bad place to get snowed in. Given the unanticipated hall pass of a snow day, our brewers decided to experiment. Hmm…what about this dark caramel roasted Midnight Wheat braced with a serious load of Styrian Goldings, Centennial and Cascade hops? Shovel it in. What a deliciously unexpected way to spend a SNOW DAY!

Actual Label:

So, as the comments suggest, a Winter Warmer that will most likely replace 2˚ Below. What do you think?

My guess is that it will be a special limited winter warmer that will only be at their tap room and nearby FoCo pubs. Or could it be replacing 2 Below? Will be interesting to find out.

The winter warmer sounds about right. Either way, great name, and surprising no one else has grabbed that yet!

it will replace 2 below and its a black ipa.

I’m not a huge fan of their mainstream beers – but I really like 2 below. I would be pretty sad to see it go.

We went on the NB brewery tour a few weeks ago. The guide told us Snow Day is a black IPA and will replace Two Below.

The plan is to start having the seasonals run two years, so Two Below will return in a couple of years.
