Renegade Brewing set to open this Sunday, June 26th

Renegade Brewing, a new 15bbl brewery at 9th and Santa Fe (925 West 9th), opens their doors for the first time this Sunday. Plans for opening day include drinking beer and having fun. They’re working on a food truck to add to the mix.

Brian O’Connell, the President and Chief Beer Officer, said they plan to have 3 taps lined up for opening day on Sunday: Ryeteous, Una Mas, and 5 O’Clock.

Ryeteous: Hop head? Yeah, this one’s for you. Crisp malt with a touch of caramel and a generous helping of rye. Oh yeah, and hops, hops and more hops. This Rye IPA is 7% ABV and 100+ IBU’s.

5 o’clock: That whistle’s blowin’ and you’ve been bustin’ your hump all day for the man. This clean crisp blonde ale has just enough hop character to make it interesting, but remains a nice easy drinking session beer. 5.5% ABV

Una Mas: One for you and one more for your new best friend. We make this Mexican style amber with an uncommon yeast strain for added flavor and we add just a hint of roasted chili peppers. 5.5% ABV

Renegade will be open from 2-9 this Sunday. Their hours moving forward will be:

  • Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – 2-9pm
  • Friday, Saturday – 2-10pm (or later, depending on crowds)
  • Closed Monday
