Let’s Get Ready To Rumble

Rumble, Great Divide’s wood-aged IPA, is back for another round. This beer gained momentous popularity when it debuted last summer and, according to brewery sources, the Great Divide brewing team has brewed five times as much Rumble as they did last year. This beer is normally available July-September, but given the popularity of Colette and Belgica, it has been released early.

Here’s what the label says, “Rumble IPA is an American IPA with subtle nuance. Brewed with heavy handed additions of Pacific Northwest hops, this beer is gently aged on French and American oak resulting in a wonderful balance of bitterness, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and undertones of pine and citrus. Very inspiring. 7.1% ABV.”

Here’s the lowdown: this beer is perfect for IPA fans and hop wary drinkers alike. Since it’s aged on French and American oak chips, it has a rounder flavor than IPAs in the West Coast-style hop bomb tradition.

You can find it at the Tap Room, on shelves and in bars and restaurants starting this week.
