Brewing News from Mountain Sun

Some new brew news from the Mountain Sun Pub family:

Hop heads rejoice!  Several of your favorite hoppy ales are making their way back to all three tap boards in May:

Hop Vivant: This tribute to the almighty hop brought home the gold medal at the 2009 Alpha King Competition.  Featuring four different hop varieties, Hop Vivant is crafted with six kettle additions and two dry hop additions and clocks in at 9.5% ABV.

Chicken Hawk IPA: We brewed our first batch of this new recipe in late March, and it flew out of the pubs, so we’re brewing it again.  This Pacific Northwest style IPA is brewed with a limited addition blended hop variety called Falconer’s Flight and tips the scales at 7% ABV.

Chupacabra: Featuring agave nectar and flaked maize, this imperial Mexican Lager was brewed to celebrate the Vine Street Pub’s third anniversary.  At 8.3% ABV, it’s remarkably quaffable and will hit all three tap boards Thursday, May 5th.

Also keep an eye out for Resinous Rye and Redemption Red, both of which will be returning to all three pubs this month.
